Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE)

LFCE was developed by The Linux Foundation to help meet the increasing demand for Linux engineering talent. The exam is performance-based on the command-line, and includes items simulating on-the-job scenarios. Candidates can select either Ubuntu 18 or CentOS 7. Holding an LFCE demonstrates that the certificant is able to deploy and configure the Linux operating system at enterprise scale. It shows they possess all the necessary skills to work as a Linux engineer. Passing a performance-based exam demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform challenging real world tasks under time constraints.
 

The Linux Foundation Certified Engineer is the ideal certification for the Linux engineer with at least three to five years of Linux experience. It is designed for the engineer looking to demonstrate a higher level of skill set to help qualify for a promotion or land a new, more advanced job.
