Course Description
Overview
This course is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to generate reports in Web Report Studio. In order to produce reports in Web Report Studio, students will to go through a series of preliminary events to get things in place.Web Reports Studio uses Information Maps, and Information Maps are generated in SAS/Information Map Studio from Metadata that is produced from registered data sets through the SAS Management console. If the Web Reports are going to utilize dynamic drill-down capability, the Information Maps need to be built from OLAP cubes that are built in SAS/OLAP Cube studio.

- Register Data through SAS Management Console
- Build a “Cube” through SAS OLAP Cube Studio
- Build an Information Map using SAS Information Map Studio
- Build the Report with Web Report Studio
- View the Report with SAS Information Delivery Portal

- This short chapter focuses on using this product at an introductory level, to register Datasets in the Metadata repository so that they can be used in other SAS BI tools.
