Overview
The ISO 55001 Lead Auditor training course will equip you with the necessary skills to audit asset management systems (AMS) based on audit principles and practices. It will provide you with the knowledge and expertise required on how to plan and conduct effective AMS audits, evaluating whether the AMS is effectively implemented, maintained, and aligned with the organization’s strategic asset management objectives.Organizations worldwide increasingly seek qualified auditors to evaluate the effectiveness of asset management practices implemented within an ISO 55001-based AMS. This comprehensive course equips you with the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct, and manage audits in accordance with ISO 19011 (auditing guidelines for management systems) and ISO/IEC 17021-1 (requirements for certification processes).

After completing the course, you will have the opportunity to sit for the certification exam. Educational approach:
- PECB recommends scheduling two short breaks (15 minutes), and a lunch break (one hour) per training day. The time of the breaks can be adjusted accordingly.
- Participants are strongly encouraged to interact with one another, exchange ideas, and actively participate in discussions.
- The quiz structure within the course closely mirrors that of the certification exam, ensuring participants are well-prepared for the exam.
General Information:
- Certificate and examination fees are included in the price of the training course.
- Participants will receive more than 450 pages of comprehensive training materials, including practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.
- Participants who have attended the training course will receive an attestation of course completion worth 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits.
- Candidates who have completed the training course with one of our partners and failed the first exam attempt are eligible to retake the exam for free within a 12-month period from the date the coupon code is received. This is because the fee paid for the training course includes a first exam attempt and one retake. Otherwise, retake fees apply.
