Overview
Learn about the fundamentals of the Linux Foundation Anuket project and how it can help accelerate your Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) transformation from fixed-function, proprietary devices to flexible, software-driven environments.This course is designed to provide a fundamental understanding and basic hands-on knowledge of the Anuket project and a guide for navigating, participating, and benefiting from the Anuket community.
This course introduces you to the fundamentals of Anuket. Starting with an overview of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Anuket, it delves into the challenges Anuket solves, then provides an overview of the specification, implementation, and compliance projects under the Anuket project. In addition to theoretical learning, the course includes lab exercises that you can run on the Google Cloud Platform. These lab exercises revolve around deployment and testing, for a deeper learning of some of Anuket’s key areas.
Lab Info:
Lab exercises for this course will be conducted on your own Google Cloud account. Detailed instructions to set up your lab environment, including all the necessary images, are provided in the course. You should be able to complete the lab exercises using the free tier or credits provided to you. However, you may incur charges if you exceed the credits initially allocated by the cloud provider, or if the cloud provider’s terms and conditions change.
