This badge holder is able to administer IBM Integration Bus and use the administrative interfaces. These interfaces include the web user interface and the IIB commands. The recipient can perform initial product installation and maintenance, environment configuration, and basic administrative tasks such as backing up and recovering the environment. The badge holder can secure access to resources and message flows, perform problem determination and resolution, and performance monitoring and tuning.

Badge earners have successfully achieved class objectives demonstrated by progress in lab exercises, attendance, participation in question and answer sessions, and/or assessments associated with:
- Configuring connectivity to MQ, JMS provider, SFTP, and SupportPac components
- Managing an integration node, message flow security, and global cache
- Using problem determination aids, web user interface, command interface, MQ or MQTT, workload management policies, & a database to record events and replay messages
