Object-Oriented Programming with Java (EJCJ-360)

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to become productive using object-oriented programming techniques in Java. Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming and how they are successfully applied in Java through classroom-based instruction and practical exercises. A student will quickly master the Java programming language and the packages that constitute its rich set of core libraries such as the Collections Framework. JDBC Programming with Java (EJJC-235)

This course is designed to provide students with the skills needed to develop solid Java applications using Java Data Base Connectivity (JDBC) to interact with relational databases such as Derby, DB2, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. The default data base used for the class workshops is Derby. This course can be delivered using Eclipse and MyEclipse Blue IDEs.
