LearnQuest Announces First Live Workday Training
(Bala Cynwyd, PA) October 13, 2014 – LearnQuest is very pleased to announce the immediate availability of our first Workday training course in Europe. Workday (www.workday.com) was founded in 2005 by PeopleSoft veterans Dave Duffield and Aneel Bhusri, and is a leading cloud-based Human Capital Management solution.
Never before has an HR software system grown so quickly yet required so much knowledge, not only for initial deployment and ongoing system updates, but also for Phase-X post go-live projects. In addition to a steep learning curve, another challenge for Workday training is that customers range from small pre-IPO companies to large Fortune 500 companies such as Flextronics, HP, and Bank of America. This diverse range of customer size results in an equally diverse range of trainee skill sets, from Logan McNeil super-users to large teams seeking guidance on best practices. Regardless of depth or breadth of knowledge, one commonality between most users is lack of spare time for additional training.
The 'Core Workday Concepts: The Big5' (CWC) course targets existing Workday customers and prospects, as well as individuals seeking Workday knowledge who until now have had few educational options. By laying a solid foundation from which to build a deeper understanding of Workday, this course prepares the trainee to tackle challenges that inevitably surface after the training. Those who pass the Certification of CWC Course Completion have successfully proven their grasp of core concepts which, if assumed or left unclear, have the potential to cause miscommunication and project delays. LearnQuest's engaging interactive online approach includes an 'open forum' at the end of each two hour session for participants to share and continue Q & A beyond the scheduled training.
'We are so excited to bring quality training to anyone who wants to learn how Workday works and what makes it unique. Today's cloud systems demand a different approach to knowledge and training, driven by mandatory updates with new features introduced at an unprecedented pace. Workday leads the pack in customer driven feature adoption and enhancements, having embraced the cloud from the outset. This fast-pace creates a challenge for Workday customers and consultants, but is an ideal opportunity for those who come to LearnQuest to enhance their Workday experience, as we are a leader in global online industry education, and have put together years of Workday experience into 'Core Workday Concepts: The Big5', our first Workday offering,' said Georg Gottschalk, LearnQuest's Vice President of Global Operations.
