Abstract: Visteon employs approximately 3000 software engineers globally. Organisation has been running on CC/CQ for many years along with a plethora of excel and project worksheets to manage software delivery. The initial phase of the project was to migrate the organisation to RTC for Configuration and Change management following this the organisation adopted the other tools in the CLM toolchain to provide a fully integrated development lifecycle and to support ASPICE compliance.

Abstract: IBM Research has several activities which are looking at the task of performing AI-enabled IoT applications at the edge. The goal is to bring the power of Watson IoT solutions from a centralized location in IBM Cloud to edge devices, which may be on-prem servers or edge gateways. These activities range from a span of fundamental research activities, in which algorithms to enable new models for learning from data generated at the edge efficiently are being explored, to applied research activities -- in which we are applying these algorithms to solve issues such as discovery connected IoT devices in an enterprise, to use of network hashes to improve IoT and IT business operations. In this talk, we will provide an overview of the fundamental research activities, with deep dives into selected areas of applied research.
