Overview
This course in an introductory course that will cover Identity Insight concepts for ETL developers and data pipeline Administrators including how data sources need to be prepared, processed and ingested into Identity Insight. Content will include configuration and management of data source types, and the UMF schemas used by data pipelines to instruct Identity Insight. In this course, students will be introduced to Identity Insight ETL and Administration UI Components.Identity Insight is an identity and relationship resolution application. Identity Insight uses advanced entity attribute and key matching methods to detect like entities and related entities across large, sparse, and disparate collections of data. It creates alerts on the data in real time to perform analytics on events, people, things, transactions and relationships.
Objectives
The course will provide an overall understanding of the data source concepts on which Identity Insight relies. In hands on workshop exercises, students will prepare and load data in UMF format into data pipelines, understand what happens in the data pipelines by interpreting results, look at overall data quality and review data processing issues. Students will also leave with an understanding of what drives alerting. This instructor-led course is intended for ETL Developers and Administrators that will be working with Identity Insight and will perform tasks related to data source preparation, processing, and administration in the application.
